From cloth cutting and welding air bag initiators to laser scribing and drilling air-bleed holes.

Hermetic welds are critical to the operation and lifetime of these thin wall devices.

Laser cutting allows fast, highly repeatable cutting with fine control and no tool wear.

The laser scribe is easy to automate and avoids tool wear. A coaxial gas nozzle with air assist blows the debris out of the scribe line creating a narrow stress riser for a good break with near zero elongation.

Laser welding fuel injectors helps improve quality and maximise production throughput.

Commonly used in the automotive industry, laser heat treatment and surface modification are key to improving vehicle performance.

Laser cutting is a fast, economical and high quality technique that can produce almost any shape feature in hydroform tubes.

The high accuracy of lasers means parts can be scribed within a few hundred microns of the edge.

Pulsed Nd:YAG lasers produce 0.5mm diameter holes in iron and aluminum alloys for optimal lubrication and fluid flow.
